alright man, well im not trying to impress friends or anything, most of my friends went off to different schools so i won't even be seeing them.I don't mean to be a dick... but everything people tell you to do you don't listen. You're 17 and you've got your heart set on impressing your friends and seem to think your way is better than that of people with high end systems and multiple years of experience.
For instance the Alpine Sub you want is a good sub however it needs a good amount of power. With your budget you can't really afford to power that sub while maintaining good mids and highs. We tell you that you don't need rear speakers and you are being stubborn and wanting to get them. For what? When you go to a concert, movie, show, play, or speech 90% of the sound comes from in front of you. Go look in the mirror which direction are your ears angled towards?
Buy either an Image Dynamics or RE Audio sub they're cheaper you'll be able to power them adequately for you budget. Then invest in a good set of components and power them properly. Since your car is small, this is even better for you because then your passengers will still be able to hear the music. Overall if you just stop being stubborn and listen to all the good advice people are giving you, you'll have a system that sounds two or three times better than what you are trying to throw together.
yeah i'll think about leaving the rear speakers out, but i carry passengers often as well.
yeah alright i will brotha thanks
