When I talked with Scott this is pretty much what he said:It's just an in between sub. It's really made for those who have too much power for a Q [1800+ RMS], but not quite enough for the BTL [

I asked him if it was worth it to wait and buy it, instead of a Q, and he said not really. That'd basically just mean I need a bigger amp is all.

if thats the case ill stick with the Q.

I don't care too much for rating them at 1000 RMS. I know they "can" take more but rating them at 1500 or whatever would give me more comfort. I mightaswell go with a Q.

Reason behind that is the same reason behind the BTL.

With no cooling options, it has a low RMS rating.
