New Build Beginning

So im about to start my build in my new truck(if you want to call it that). Im not really doing a huge build log for it, but i will throw up some pictures once its gets going. Building for daily that is able to put up decent numbers on TL.

The Vehicle will be a 01 Hyundai Santa Fe:

Equipment:

Sub(s) - 2 Soundqubed Sdc2.5 15's

Amp(s) - 1 Shark 2500d for now (will be 2 strapped when its fully done, and set via dmm/scope for 2500rms from the pair)

Wire(s) - 4 Runs of 1/0 front to back batts(2 positive and 2 dedicated negative runs)

Battery(s) - 1 Deka under hood - 2 Agms in back

Big 3 - Will be 1/0 when i figure out how to get to the alt(its under the engine //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif )

Alt - Stock for now

Enclosure - 8.24 Cubes Gross - 7.06 cubes net(3.53 cubes per sub) - 1-10" Aero(78.5 sq-inches of port) - 11.1560 sq-inches port per cubes - Tuned to 37hz

@mlstrass; how does that look as far as the sub enclosure goes, seeing that you have alot of AQ/SQ exp


i asked them direct and they said it looked good. Both Dj & Zack said that...

I've never gone smaller then 3.75^3 net per 15 and prefer to go bigger if I have the room...

i see what if im running alittle more then rated to them, aiming for about 1k each.

I still prefer a bigger enclosure...I always run way over RMS but usually with HDC3's & 4's. SDC's I usually do a pair on an AQ1200 or 2200, have built a lot of those set ups. 8-9cubes net for a pair of 15's...

i see, i just dont have that much room to give i like to leave some room to where i could pack a stroller or something with me lol. Once i get my other amp im going to set them around 2500watts before rise/voltage so it would even itself out
