Need Sugestions For My Build

The subs you listed are good. I'm a bit partial to the Zv3s and I've run them personally. They're bulletproof subs and they do very well tuned low for demo rides. I would tune the 18s at ~28Hz but if you're more concerned with SPL, you should probably tune close to 40.

So I went on to Products Menu and then tools. 17 cubic feet along with 28 hertz and 2 8" aero ports. This gave me 15.5 deep flared aero port. Now my problem that still remains is should I do 2 8", 4 4", or 6 4" and also should i put the ports on the outside of the box or inside like commonly done.

I'd do two 8" ports but if you mount them outside the box you'll have to re calculate the length, as the box will be larger.

Good start get rid of the bd,s and get some real powa!! lol I have never like running different amp on subs strap 2 2500's together or go with a big amp like the viking in the classifieds....just me though

No thanks not a fan of the Banda Viking. They do have nice frequency controls but rockford bdcp has the win for quality.

18 cube is appropriate for 2 18s only. Find some trf motors and keep the 2500 for those. Add a second 2500 later when you find one.

Ok another UPDATE! Went ahead and ordered one of the sundown zv3 dual 2 ohm for mock up. I'm going to buy another t2500 and strap them which gives me a total of about 7000 rms clamped power at 3 ohms. I'm going to wire the subs in parallel/series to get a final impedance of 3 ohms. I'm going to stick with what bbeljefe recommended. I'm going to run 2 8" ports tuned to 28 hertz for demoing. Do the zv3 have banana connector slots?

So 2 8" ports should be fine even though it's a little under the specified port area of the sundown zv3 18?
