Need Sugestions For My Build

I recently bought a 93 Full Size Blazer for a demo truck.

So far I've bought:

* 220 and 350 amp alternator

* Knukonceptz Kolossus 0 gauge runs

* 8 76 ah AGM batteries

* 2 Rockford T400-4

* Rockford T2500-1 bdCP

* Rockford T1500-1 bdCP

* Set of Rockford T1462

* Set of Rockford T142

* 4 Rockford Pro 6.5"

* 2 Rockford Pro Tweeters

* 2 Rockford Pro 8"

I'm trying to get more thoughts on my build. I just built a wall with 17 cubic feet for 3 18's. I will be running the t2500 to 2 and t1500 to the other. The decision now is whether I should get 3 SSA Zcon or 3 Sundown zv3. I'm looking for subwoofers with 3" vc only. I'm looking for db numbers with no more than 6000 rms watts. If you think I should change amplifiers, feel free to recommend. Also, I will be installing a aero port. I'm not sure whether I should do 2 8" or 10" ports nor the frequency yet. If you have any advise or knowledge of these subs please comment. Thanks.

What do you plan to do with two different sized subwoofer amps?

Would you just recommend 3 t1500s. I'm thinking of posting the t2500 in classifieds but it's just a beast and hard to let go.

It doesn't matter to me what you use but there's no reason to have different power amps in your sub stage unless you plan to run different subs on specific frequency ranges.

You certainly don't want a 1500 and a 2500 running subs that will be in the same box or charged with doing the same work.

I'm a big bdCP fan. The amps are amazing. The t2500 does almost twice the amount of the t1500. I figured just turn down the t1500 using a multimeter and solid frequency to gain match the t2500 dividing it by 2. At least until I sell or trade them for something that is more suitable for running all 3 18s

Ok I definitely understand what you're talking about. Same box with different power = crap. Would gain matching work?

Ok well I have about a month to decide on another amplifier once I order the subwoofers. Do you have any opinions on the subs or box tuning?

for Pure DBs, go with soundqubed hdc4s or some DC audio XLs. For loud and great sounding you'll be happy with either the sundown or SSA

The subs you listed are good. I'm a bit partial to the Zv3s and I've run them personally. They're bulletproof subs and they do very well tuned low for demo rides. I would tune the 18s at ~28Hz but if you're more concerned with SPL, you should probably tune close to 40.

I've been all over forums. The zcon seems to be the winner for me. They are very efficient subwoofers that'll handle burps. Eventually I think ill just run 3 t2500s. One to each sub. What kind of tuning would be best for 17 feet cubed box with the zcons. 8" or 10"? And what frequency?

I've never heard the zv3s in person but I think I've watched every YouTube video with them in a vehicle. The only thing I don't like about YouTube is some people don't run consistent power and a lot of other discrepancies. That's why I'm just up for opinions and advise. I currently have a fi btl with psi recone. Research told me the zv3 is better motor than the ufo btl. So honestly I think you opinion still remains. Either is going to be a nice setup.

This is also the reasoning behind the aero ports. I can demo and db meter with just changing out the port for the most part.

If the 2500's can be strapped I'd get a 2nd one now and a third when you can.

HDC4's wouldn't be ideal in that enclosure....

That's a good idea. The only thing is they are hard to find at a good price. So for a update, My goal is to run 3 t2500s. Now i just need some more ideas of which sub would be better in the 17 cubed box I have.
