Hello all. This is my first post on this board //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/blush.gif.99bc659ee2012b7d826165e26fb5eebe.gif . My question is not an easy one, and with many variables, but I have a long time to figure it out. I have a 1965 Buick Skylark and I am wanting to put a pretty ****** system in it that I can demo all day long if I want to. I can build up to a 12 cubic foot box while retaining the space I need and want for performance mods and trunk storage space(gotta love old cars with BIG trunks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif ). I can put up to 10 8's, 6(possibly 8) 10's, 4 12's, 3 15's or 2 18's in the box. I am wanting to be able to do some pretty intense hairtricks with all four windows down? have pretty good sound quality, and have good frequency response on extreme lows(18~20hz) up through??? I can install 3 batteries in my car(possibly 4 kinetik 3800's or something else???) , and definately 2 if not 3 alternators(150~200amps a piece). Just curious as to what you guys might suggest for this build as far as subwoofer size, brand, and what to power them with? I do not know whether the inclosure will be ported yet or not. And I do not have a dollar figure, I am definately not going to go cheap, but not looking for the most expensive option out there(I'm more looking to get a dollar figure to works torwards). Thanks for your help and suggestions, and sorry for the novel. Also I know this doesn't go with car audio very well... but lightweight components are always a BIG plus! This car is meant to be a competitive drag racer first and foremost. I am lightening the car in hopes to offset the car audio equipment //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif lol
