How is that cap hurting the appearance of those amps?? They don't match as it is. So I fail to see how the cap ruins anything.

The amps are both aluminum and black. They match well enough. The cap is white with a cheesy logo and cheapens up the look of the whole thing.

The cap does make it look bad, but in your situation, you need all the help you can get. Once you start running that 1500D @ .67 ohms, you will probably be seeing around 1800w plus add the additional 450w from the JL, and you are talking about some serious power. Hurry up and upgrade the alt. You really don't need another box either, as you have the subs plus the amp to get pretty loud. I can hear my car quite a distance away, and I only have 1 sub plus 1K w, so YOU should be able to "Quake."

make an amp rack & cut the plastic tape cover on the cap..

cleanup the wires & it would look real nice..
