I found it for sale at around $475 for everything. I don't have room for an 18" but if that's a good price I'll pick it up for someone else...

Depending on the condition I wouldnt say that it is a bad deal. But to answer the question in your title the determining factor for what something is worth is whatever someone is willing to pay.
