Well, I was happily surprised when my installer guy so unhesitantly pulled the trim off and carpet back to snake cables under it! He was evidently experienced at doing it and now that I've seen how easy it is... Power,Gnd and speaker wires too! And of course the RCAs from the HU back to the amps' box. I taught him by example how easy it is to make door panels into better speaker cabinets.

Then that's the wrong definition of being called an installer. An installer should pretty much know how to do a little of everything.

And how much of that "little bit of everything" is what we are arguing about? No one knows everything, and probably most if not all here know something about installing car audio systems. So why don't we ALL be a little to a lot more considerate, respectful and nicer to each other and try and help each other more than S HIT all over each other at most opportunities?

I am SO HAPPY with how good my system sounds, despite all the nattering naysayers of negativism the denizens of Caraudio kept telling me that my system would 100% fail! ROFL!! TOLD YA SO!!!

Is it perfect? No. no electronic sound system is unless the music it's reproducing was made electronically, which most music is NOT! Not even my band the Cheep Effects! We used a number of organic analog "instruments" like the sheet of tempered Masonite I played for the intro to "Goodbye Taism"!
