My install's coming along nicely

I'll give it to you; you likely have loud and fairly clear. But if you think you have good sound reproduction get an RTA done and post the results. As an engineer you should appreciate objective measurements. Even then your time alignment is all sort of farged up with that many point sources spread in that large of a spatial distribution.

I'd love to do that AFTER I get good with the capabilities of this Alpine PXA-H800 DSP!! I can hear well the sub has a big hump that needs correcting! This DSP is like an "expensive effect"! Maybe I can do time alignment ONLY on the two 5.25s in my front stage with their tweeters of course! Will my DSP let me do that? If not why not? DSP is suppose to give me much more power and control over the music, d a m m i t!

Yes I AM here for the attention! And to tell all you naysayers of negativism that my Alpine+PHD system ROCKS!! Seriously the best sound system in car I ever had! And it can only be made better! And IT WILL!

And so many times denizens and naysayers said my choices junk!! HA! I knew that if I got the best equipment I could get and did as much mounting improvement as I could (lots of Damplifier Pro plus more, the patches in the door panels, etc.) that I cojuld make a kick a s s e d system WORK! And I did!! ROFL!! Once again eschewing the status quo and evidencing it WRONG!

Most of us already know how your system sounds because we have already made all the mistakes you just made and suffered the consequences. Equipment doesn't matter as much as speaker placement and all your speakers are in the wrong spot. I know what your system sounds like without even hearing it because I've tried all that crap and sure, at first if seemed not too bad but lack of realism got tiring.

I achieved doing exactly what I wanted, which was to install a kick a s s system as close to 100% stock as possible. All stock speaker locations only exceptions being the little 1" tweeters off the A-pillars. I knew the stock speaker locations were not the best but I really didn't want to go through the trouble of heavily modifying my vehicle for better speaker montr locations when I had perfectly good places provided my Chrysler! And it worked! The windshield actually doesn't harm the sound of the PHD speakers too much at all! Kind works with it even.

And it sounds GOOD! I can move my head around and find the sweet spots! Like if I sit right in the middle and get my head close to the windshield I cas really hear the PHD drivers and tweeters! CLEARLY Which is why I'd love to time correct off these four drivers only! The PHDs handle the mid bass and up admirably!

Every system is built for the customer. And this customer was an active participant in the installation process! Like I made the block off plates for the holes in the door sheet metal! And things worked out great and are only gonna get better!

I have, I was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder March of 2015, and I got on a good med for me. Same or similar to what Carrie Fisher had.

What is YOUR Mental Health Disorder? Do you realise that just about everyone can be diagnosed with SOME mental health disorder in the DSM-V I think they are up to now? And also do you realize in many less technologically advanced cultures what we call mental health disorders are considered gifted mental health states?
