My install's coming along nicely

no hawk your not versed in kuthe, a true fan would know that the leftover wires were "scraps" that he gave to the craiglist installer as tips

lmfao i forgot about that part.

And john, no thanks to which part of that? Like you said, its a very minor problem that probably isnt worth paying someone else to do but if you dont end up doing it yourself then fixing that minor problem will no doubt cost you anywhere from ~200 to 500+ depending on the route you take. Assuming you pay a shop or someone to handle it that is.

So much lol in here.

He pays someone to do work for him then tries to help other people on here. That's funny. He's taking credit from someone's work.

That's wrong. This is the way I see it, helping people: hands-on. troubleshooting something yourself. And maybe later on someone else is having trouble and then that's the perfect opportunity to help that person because you have exp.

And then, let me guess, is he going to replace the alt and not do the big 3? Then he will still be trying to **** a lake through a stir stick. I had a 2000 watt sub amp and 400 watt on my highs in a caravan. Stock alt no problem with good wiring. Plus he's using a lighter plug in volt meter. So not even getting proper amp reading. Why do we even try helping this clown?

I'm NOT getting a high output alternator so you don't have to worry your little pinhead! And the lighter plug in is just fine. Gives a rough estimate of the health of the whole electrical system in a very gross way. Like it pretty accurately differentiates dramatically between battery only and alt! It was easy and cheap too! Just a few dollars and plug it in! Makes for cool dash candy too! And you can stick your "proper amp reading" where the sun don't shine! (Profanity guard has trouble with analogies!)

To each his own. Your install do as you please.
And he does. And...he'll tell you that too.

But by golly he asks us for help....nah I don't wanna do that. No I don't wanna do that, nah I have plenty of $$ rto have someone do that since I don't wanna. Nah, I'm not gonna do that either lol then wtf did you ask us for then!!

Its weird if you google him you see people on usenet hating on him hard, so its not just people here. You'd think he would realize its a defect in his personality and he would try to correct. At least I would hope someone with 2 degrees would be bright enough to have some introspection. Spewing about others egos, ms and bi-polar now add on textbook narcissism.

I've told everyone here: I've been hated by better than you! ;-)

And I have three degrees, CS, EE and nursing.
