Yes John...the RUX DOES have to be connected (or an AI-net HU) this has been covered. What happens when I show you photo EVIDENCE we have the remote-on wire connected just fine, but the DSP still needs the RUX controller plugged in to turn the DSP on and off?

What's wrong with a 6x9 for midbass?Best part is he bought 600$ comps and 6x9s for midbass.. Lol
I do.Weak.
I mean who the hell put's a 6x9 in the front door?
I'm pretty sure the SPR-69s have a small capacitor to protect their tweeters and provides crossover rolloff for the tweeter. Basic high pass filter, can and is being done with one capacitor, I'm pretty sure. I can't find a pic of one.Serious question, are you going to have the tweeters in the 6x9's powered?
Or are you band passing them? If so what are your planed frequencies?
John - you will not get proper staging at all using the door speakers as full range.I'm pretty sure the SPR-69s have a small capacitor to protect their tweeters and provides crossover rolloff for the tweeter. I don;t think leaving the stock tweeters on the SPR-69s is gonna hurt a lot. Yes the tweeters off the two PHD 5.25" top of the dash driver's tweeters will be separately amped and through the DSP separately.

Thank you, good numbers. I'll take that under advisement when I go full active.John - you will not get proper staging at all using the door speakers as full range.
You will not be able to do any time alignment using them like that either.
I was hoping you were going to set your front stage up as a 3 way
door speakers running 60-250 hz
dash speakers running 250 - 4,500 hz
tweeters 4,500 and up
That would be the best way to setup your system based on the equipment you have.
Well. Boomin_tahoe is pissed at me because I busted him for LYING!! So he will never have anything nice to say about anything to do with me or my system.I do.
Infinity has a new Kappa Perfect 6x9 mid bass that looks pretty sick. Audio Frog will be releasing a GS 6x9 midbass driver next year. Morel Has a really nice 6x9 Tempo Ultra series driver. Do I even need mention the ID XS-69's…fukin legendary midbass.
If you can add a smaller midrange into the mix then the front doors are a great place for 6x9's…the cone area of an 8 with the easy of drop-in installation….for midbass duty, what's the downside?
