Kicker 15" speaker grills! Why did none of the online ads I saw for them SAY they were cast metal, probably aluminum? I had to buy one to find out!!

Easiest way to tell non ferrous metal from ferrous. Try to keep up.

If your dead set of coaxials I'd try the crescendos. Pretty affordabale and have your 6x9 and 5.25s. Mmight even be 30% off still. Just thought I'd throw it out there but I'm sure I'll get some negative response. Crescendo is a good bang for the buck. I love my pwx8s and 6.5s and just for some new sts-1 tweets. In it for maybe 300$ in all total. Chillin and faded and thought I'd try and give you a budget friendly alternative.

Those aren't metal. It's hard plastic to give it that metal look. Kicker wouldn't do that nowadays....would cost way too much $$ on their part to make.

I didn't try that, but I'm sure not. Too light for iron/steel, aluminum I'm sure.
