My 07 build, enjoy :D

3-24-07

Got lots of things accomplished today especially for the time i spent in the garage.

I got the wheels straight to the eye by moving the toe out, should be good enough to drive it to get it aligned //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

got the copper bar cut in half and sanded down

got the other 3 runs of negative 1/0 knukonceptz wiring in

with the seat back in

3-24-07 continued

taped the ends of the power wire and hooked up the runs to the battery

that was it for today, it started to snow so I couldnt take the other wires out of the neon todo the big 3 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif so that will be my next step, Im planning on running 2 runs from the alternator to the battery but fused, and 2 runs of ground from the battery to the frame, and 2 runs from the alternator bracket to the frame so hopefully maybe next weekend. In the mean time im gonna start the other tube tomorrow and fiberglass during the week. Its getting there slowly lol

3-25-07

Got the old wiring and fuse holders out of the neon which took a tad longer than i hoped for but got done. So I started to run 2 fuse holders and wires from the batt to the alternator. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/woot.gif.aaa6090e619a97b6090d16dd863c5a69.gif Now just for the ground work //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Had the day off, still sick, but I felt better so I headed to the garage. I got Tylers aka Sutterkain's copper bar cut and sanded, hes supposed to show up sunday to pick that up with his fuse holder i sold him

I got the negative wires ran under the hood so its all done NO MORE WIRING WORK UNDER THE HOOD, I opted not to wire the ground to the alternator bracket

sanded the areas and secured them with big self threading screws with a washer.

connected to the battery

I didnt like the way that wire was on the radiator tube so i moved it, sorry no pic.

got the wiring ties out and started to tie the wires up

3-29-07 continued

charged the battery up to 12.9 volts and than started the car up look what it reads

and at the back of the car

Tested with the clamp meter

3-31-07

went to home depot got a 2X4' section of 3/4" mdf for the hatch area, used the factory piece for a template.

start cuttin

space for battery

battery in

another shot

I didnt like the way the battery sat, I wanted it back further so i cut it out more and pushed it back, hey what do you know gives me 1" opening for wires

Here it is cut out fully

battery in

screwed down the baffle for the moment

Now with it all setup up temporarily I had to figure the best way to use the copper bus bar, I was gonna mount it on top but I remembered my new amps are 34.25" long so im gonna need all of the flat surface I can. So with that said I figured out what to get and back to home depot I went. Got some bolts and nuts... drilled out the holes for mounting the bars and temporarily mounted it in the inside of the tire well.

so tomorrow Im hoping to drill the rest of the holes for the ring terminals and get them both secured, Im gonna have to order more ring terminals too, Im lacking 10 more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
