thats horrible,( the part about the kitten) i think sql is a very vague term though, as like its been said many times sq is user subjective.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif then we could get into the part where you can be loud the mic, or loud the the ears. most people that want sql want it to sound loud to them, not feel loud.(the mic). just my take on sql, or that is what it means to me, as we all know that you can have great spl, and sit in someones car that pumps 130 and it will "sound" louder, but the feeling is not there.

This whole new elitist anti-"SQL" bandwagon is just stupid... The term has a very simple meaning, a driver designed with both SQ and output in mind. It doesn't mean that it will sound good to everyone, and it doesn't mean that it will be loud enough for everyone. Its just a useful term for describing that balance some of us seek even though the lines can be blurred. Try telling Mag, W7, etc. owners that their drivers can only get really loud or sound really good.

What doesn't make sense? Its a sub that has the potential to get loud and sound good as its design goals. How does what the newbs think alter the truth about something? They also think that class D means digital, does that make the actual meaning of class D change? No.
