The new HDC3s are nice, but IMO AQ should have never stopped making the HD3. Those things were monsters, plain and simple. In the same box/power i've seen the HD3s be .8db louder than alum HDC3s(on a 5kw bassrace, single 15).

I assume you don't plan on playing rap/C&S stuff anymore as that enclosure is less then ideal for that type of music. Seems more like a burp box just tuned a little lower then usual, so I'm interested to see how it works out for you.

as small as that box is, i would think it would handle ton's of power and still handle a little bit of the low's.. even being tuned a little higher.. Should do some nice numbers..
but that's still an assload of power for those subs.. hell my hdc3's barely could handle a mm4000 on the pair.. but that was a pair of 12's in a box pretty much identical to this one.

nice amp..... meh on the subs man.... like already stated i have yet to c an aq take 3k... even thou the box is small u will cook the shit out of the subs on that amp! what load u gona wire to? that seems to have been overlooked lol

1 ohm to the amp. Iv seen coppers take close to 3k rms daily. This will be fine for now. Ill change it up by spring.

nocospl is running his 2 15 alums on 2 ia 40.1s. i think he is running the amps at .5ohms too
its all in the box design. with a small box these subs can take some power

this is 100% dead on. Smaller box with more power will handle it better and grant me with better cone controll and biger numbers
