Ill look into that.I have never really done any soldering or anything and i dont want to **** something up. So im just nervous about it.X-overs are simple to build. If you can read a circuit and twist wires together, you can make an x-over. I started with the classic peg board with zip ties and hot glue circuit, then eventually stepped it up to custom printed circuit boards. I like the circuit board method better because it's much quicker and easier. Draw your circuit with a sharpie, throw it in a 2-1 ratio of hydrogen peroxide to muriatic acid, wait 20 minutes, take some acetone to remove the sharpie, drill out holes to put the components' leads in, solder, listen. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
Ask Noah about the peg board since his method is much clearner than mine.
Thanks I thought black was too fancy. And nice *** color BTW.
You'll be fine, this is my first attempt at a x-over, and it went perfectly alright. My hoosier buddy, PV, is right; it's really simple. If you make a mistake you can just fix your mistake. Just so you don't have to do that, double check yourself. I've never etched the boards, but from how he makes it sound, it sounds pretty dang easy. Oh and I think the color is b*tchin.Ill look into that.I have never really done any soldering or anything and i dont want to **** something up. So im just nervous about it.

This i will be doing. As soon as m,y shit from pe comes in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifI'm telling y'all, go to CVS and get some hydrogen peroxide. Go to lowes by the solvents and shit and get muriatic acid. Mix in a 3-1 ratio or 2-1 ratio if you're ballsy enough of hydrogen peroxide (h202) to muriatic acid (HCl). Throw the circuit board in it, and it eats the copper faster than anything you can imagine. Be careful though, because that muriatic acid is 30% concentration. The shit you used in chem lab in HS was probably 1% or 5% if your teacher was a hard ***.
As a chemistry major, it pains me to see you do percentages in concentrations! Don't you know I don't recognize percentages, I recognize molarity. Yeah, I feel like a total nerd now... sorry. lolThe shit you used in chem lab in HS was probably 1% or 5% if your teacher was a hard ***
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ConcentrationI can't remember what it's molarity is //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
