Maybe I should have read further down, but with the title "loudest sub" I wasn't expecting him to be going for sq.

Anyways, aim for subs such as SI Mags (which I still have yet to hear, but only good things are said about them), JL w6/w7, RE Se's, Fi Q's, etc.

true, nice sub the one I heard was in less than optimal shape but sounded good and got quite loud.

its rms is 600, which is pretty low

IXL won't work... only SVC 4s on the 18s or DVC 2s on the 15s... neither give him 2 ohm load.

i had a 2 JBL MKll 12" sold them to 2 diffrent ppl an the car i put the one in was pretty loud off a memphis 400 w there sq subs sooo.. go with a 15" then. an you will be set

Um my comment is that RF sucks. That is my opinion. Feel free to disagree. It is a massive sub and has plenty of Xmax, not in same league as these subs at all- W7 or Hertz 12", SI Magnum are all Superbly sounding woofers in correct enclosures.

Man the L7 15" would spank that RF in output and probably sound about the same.

or port one type R and wang on it.

Get DD 3515 over a RF!!
