loundest sub for 1000 rms@2ohms

I am looking for a single sub that is atleast lounder than 2 type R 12'',

basically to make a box for the 2 12's will cost more than making the box for 1 sub,

sub size is preferably a 12, 13.5, or 15,

price isnt too big of a deal just nothing like above $500 for the sub

but it must be lounder than 2 type r's and be able to run off my kicker ZX1000.1 which is 1000 rms @2ohms

A Havoc 18 or 15 would wang like hell off of a Kicker ZX1000.1

It's all in the install mang. A poor install with good subs is much worse than a good install with decent subs. Focus on getting a new box and you should like those type r's a lot more. R's are pretty tough little subs.

it doesnt matter as long as the 1 sub is louder than my 2 12's that i have now,

would a rockford T1 15'' be louder?

Alpine Type x- 12" 1000rms

Kicker S15L7- 15" 1000rmx

nah iy wasnt worthless, but i can make a good install with the 1 sub too, i will be saving money if i get one sub, and it will be louder probably cuz its a pain to get the tpe R's in a ported box in my mustang, but it would be alot easier to get the 1 sub ported and tunervery well

Keep the R and put full power on it. You may be surprised by what a single 12 could do.

How about a single FI BL 15"? With no options other than cooling should sound good on that ZX1000. Heres a 12" with around the same amount of power
