Looking for a little bit of legal advice for a ticket.

What about people with long hair...when they turn around, doesn't the hair get in their face, partially blocking their vision? So...people with long hair should not be allowed to drive.

actually in Louisiana they just did away with wearing motorcycle helmets because they restricted the drivers view...so i can understand the hoodie point of view

I ride motorcycles all the time....tried everything from full helmets to half and never had my vision restricted. Even offroad helmets with visors and extra protection restricts vision...dunno what Lousiana saw =P

I never ride with a helmet..but nonetheless =P

i don't like the hypocrisy more than the actual ticket giving. it's the law makers. they found out way back when that ticketing people for not buckling up children made money. they upped it to forcing car seats or....ticket. they upped it to everyone needs t wear one or....ticket. it's painfully obvious that safety isn't the ultimate goal. it's the second most important goal. they're grabbing our money from every direction. they are making millions upon millions of dollars for moving violations and parking violations.

it has been in the news here lately.....i've never wore one so i dunno...i'm just going on the reasonimg they are doing away with the law...they don't bring up the number of people that were actually saved by being thrown from their vehicle for not wearing a seatbelt and would've been crushed alive if they had it on...they are only ticketed for not being dead and having no seat belt on.....

actually i think seatbelts restrict your full frame of view but you have to wear them...someone has to pay for their coffee and donuts

The cop saw a Hood Rat wearing a Hoodie driving a Hooptie. For all he knows you could have been on your way to da Hood, to bust a cap in dat azz yo.

Police officers are trained to utilize profiling when initiating a traffic stop. You should have had a hello kitty sticker and a scarf and you would have been fine.

In all seriousness , it may not be good idea to make the cop out to be a total idiot especially If you travel through that area quite a bit. He will remember the shame and ridicule you brought upon him with a in court hoodie renactment , along with character witnesses with various physical impairments, and using middle eastern women in full head dress as examples. I might consider paying the ticket.

Well my best bet is to fight it off in court and tell the people there and if it goes further try to higher a lawyer or something cops been assholes around my hood and in Fresno for awhile already can't do nothing..
