that spider thing kinda scares me, and im still not sure about that surround, just looks to me like it will have weak points. but regardless im in for the test results

I'll do some tests on it the day I receive it. I'm gonna put 1200 "clean watts" to it and see how the surround, coil, and spider holds up. It will be put into a 4 cube box tuned to 29hz. Word is that this thing has an FS of 19hz so it SHOULD be a low end monster.

The surround should hold up fine as long as the sub isn't bottoming out like crazy. It looks like it has a pretty large surround.

You just cut the ugly POS dustcap out with a knife and place new dustcap on and super glue right?

just about any dustcap should work, around 4-5 inches should fit pretty well.

Where do I get dustcaps? I refuse to take pictures of this sub until a new one is on. I can't let you guys go thru hell like that.

Get a Sundown dustcap from Jacob so you can nuthug with the rest of them.
