Is there big difference in SQ between Alpine SWS-1242D and SWE-1241 and witch amp is better: Profile CL600 or Profile AP1000.

SQ is usually subjective to the listeners ears.

What people like is subjective, but what is most accurate really isn't at all objective.

The two subwoofers in question really are not dramatically different from one another. The SWS-1242D does have a slightly stronger motor, and a very small amount more xmax. I would take the SWS-1242D, because with a Qts of 0.66, the SWE-1241 is really relegated to sealed box only duty.
