Kicker L5 15 vs L7 12

Ok i have a question. Which set up will get louder/lower, 2 15 inch kicker l5s sealed, or 2 12 inch l7's ported in a honda civic hatchback off of a jbl bp1200.1?

Also, since i have the jbl which gets its power at two ohms, which type of voice coils do i need to buy for the two kickers to reach a 2 or 1 ohm load?

what if the ported box is slightly under spec? Also you think two TWELVEs would be louder than 2 15s???? **** i didnt know ported would make that much of a difference......

Idk about the new ones but the l7s here DO NOT like ported except in a big box.... its alot of difference to me?

If its going in a hatchback, go with the 2 15's.

yea right now i have two 15 PG Titaniums, and i love how they sound, but i was also thinking that i should go with the 15 solobarics, should be louder, but not sound as good , but i was considering ported 12's as an alternative to 15's.

Guess ill go with the 15s. which voice coil config do i need to buy to get a 2 or 1 ohm load from 2 subwoofers???

Dual 4's in par. would present the amp around 1 ohm

My bp1200.1 is 1 ohm stable correct? i remember reading something about it getting hot tho

its supposed to be 1 ohm "slammable" but i once had 2 L7 12's in a big ported box runnin that amp at 1 ohm n it would always clip and/or go into protection...so to be safe, id get dual 2 ohm VC's, and run em to the amp at 2 ohms

if you want cheap L5 15's, i THINK sounddomain had em for cheap

i price matched mine for 183 with FREE SHIPPING to hawaii so i got a deal on my 2 15s btw they hit low n pretty hard (mine were with the bp1200 and a ~13ft^3 ported box in my 4runner)

**** a 13 ft box is huge, max space im gonna have is like 5 cubes, so 2.5 each, then a bunch of polyfill hope its ok

pair of L7 12's in a good enclosure with about 1500 - 2000 watts is more than enough for daily IMO

The zeb has L5's on closeout, dont know if they have 15's tho
