looking for a pair of 12's to replace my Dayton ho's. loved the daytons but want to try something else. something similar with maybe a tad bit more output.

box is 1.1 cf each sealed. powered by jbl gto1201.1 amp. 1114rms @ 2ohms.

what would be the best choice? i listen to everything but i don't care about spl chest pounding bass.

The Dayton HO's are probably a better sounding driver. If your looking for SQ with a little more output the IDMax is probably the ID sub of choice.

i did love the daytons alot. best sounding sub I've heard yet. i just want to try other brands. how much of a difference in sound would the tc be against the daytons? i was looking at the idmax but heard they got louder. i don't care for loud just want clean bass. nothing to over power my interiors

Absolutely. I have an IDMAX 12 in a 1.65 cubic sealed box on 900 watts and it sounds great. You won’t be disappointed. Pull the trigger.

I may get a pair of his 6" woofers for the back. It's an extended cab pickup so the enclosure won't be as bad as a door with holes in it. Highs...
