I'm thinking of going JL Audio need some opinions.

1 ROLL 25 Feet 0 Gauge Red Power Wire OFC | eBay looks nice and hopefully should give me some extra for the big 3.

As far as subs go I am thinking about the t3 audio T.600-12d what do you guys think?

EDIT: I'm looking into local welding supply to see if I can get some nice 0 gauge welding cable I have heard that is a good way to go about getting power cable.

I have a aq2200 fused for 200amps and onx 125.4 fused at 100amps and I run Knu CCA and I have zero issues. Been like this for well over a year. OFC is better sure but if CCA will work for what you have then why spend more..

Wire looks ok, never heard of the company though, so you might end up with something closer to 4 gauge wire. I made that mistake once before on Ebay, bought a couple rolls of what was supposed ot be 0/1 gauge wire, the cable looked like it was the same as real 0/1 wire, but when you compared the actual wire in it to a run of Knu 0/1 wire the wire in the no name brand was maybe half the size. They just put on so much insulation that it looks like real 0/1 wire when looking at it from the side.

For the power he's going with he doesn't really need an extra battery, it won't hurt, but that can be put off for a bit. CCA wire is 66% as efficient compared to pure copper wire, not much of a difference at all in a daily driver. $70 for a wire kit is cheap, I spent about $90 plus shipping on a Stinger kit of 0/1 ga several years ago. I've got hundreds of dollars in wiring now, not even sure how much really. Do the Big 3 and that will help out for awhile.
That AQ1200 can actually push upwards of 1500w, amd then he was talking about adding a 4-channel amp, which is probably another 400w. So 1900w might merit a few extra batteries xD

Guess that would depend on what 4 channel amp he gets. With his limited budget I'm guessing he's not going to spend the extra money on a 400 watt 4 channel amp. If he does need more, a single small battery would work, like a Kinetik HC600 or HC800.

JL is the only the only subs I have run in my car period. I haven't purchased them retail yet and they have always sounded great.

My favorite set up was a 2 12w3D4's in a HO box with a 500/1 amp. It sounded great, hit pretty well and for the price I couldn't beat it. Especially would sound nice in a jeep like yours.

Not sure I have a jeep so the battery is a decent side however I might have to get a new one will find out.

I can use 4 gauge going from the distribution block to the aq1200d right? I don't need anything thicker then that for just that amp right?

yeah I agree had 2 jl 12's w3 sounded good but bought 2 sundown 12's and no comparison jl is good but way overpriced and my sundowns can handle a lot more power also

With that Jeep I believe the alt is a decent size, at least 100 amps, and the battery can be big, but if it;s a standard factory battery it might not do much for a bigger bass system.

4 ga is fine for that amp. If it needed bigger I'm sure the amp would have bigger inputs and the manual would say so. I used to have a Rockford 1500bd and it only needed a single 4ga wire, my Orion 2500d requires two 4ga wires.

Yeah that's what I figured so I ordered a 0 gauge to 2x 4 gauge distribution block. Ok now all I need to get is power wire and subs lol.

I just recieved an email from AudioQue I guess there will be some delay in shipping the amp not a lot but I guess that gives me time to order subs too.

They will be shipping next week they are in customs right now and should be released by Friday and then head towards the warehouse here, once we have them they will ship immediately, you will receive an email confirmation with UPS tracking once the amp ships, thank you Michael S
Just out of curiosity what gauge speaker wire do you guys think I will need for 1200-1500 watts @ 1 ohm? I was reading some forum posts that said 10 gauge or over which is fine it just seems really thick for 1200 watts to me.

Just get a whorhorse and a jackhammer and call it a day. You will be the loudest then.
lol

I found a local welding supply place that has #1 welding power cable 25 foot rolls for $52, he says he runs 350-400 amps thru it fine so it would definitely hold what I need. My only question is if I have 0 gauge connectors and ring terminals will it be too small to fit in them?
