I'm thinking of going JL Audio need some opinions.

Ok well I'm looking at these:
Power kit: 2 GAUGE POWER WIRE AMP KIT IMC AUDIO COPPER IMC707RE 0 | eBay

200A Inline Circuit Breaker: 200 AMP 12-VOLT CIRCUIT BREAKER RESET FUSE 200A 83-200 | eBay

PS: I'm looking for decent sounding subs but also don't want to sacrifice loudness. I like a nice tight sounding bass but I still would like to be able to hit lows as well. My rfr3112's were nice at doing both but the audiobahn wouldn't handle the long lows too well.
Order all wires and such from knukonceptz. 2 awg will be fine for ur setup. U do not need a 200amp inline fuse. That amp has onboard fuses for a total of 120amps. The only fuse holder and fuse you will need to buy is one for the wire. That 2awg wire is prob good for 150amps so you would buy a 150amp fuse.

I might add a 4 channel amp later thats why I was thinking of getting the 200 amp CB should I use 0 gauge just incase I want another amp later?

This kit looks nice but I can get a bullz audio one on ebay for $42: Copper Clad Aluminum

The level 4 subs say 3.60 ohm for RE not sure why since the description says dual 2 ohm.
the re is measured with the voice coils in series, the resistance will be slightly low than the nom imp. so when you series something around the 1.8 range you end up with something in the 3.6 range.

sorry didnt realize there were three pages here.... my bad

The only cheap wire I use is KnuKonceptz, awesome CCA wire for the price. Pure copper I normally go with welding wire. KnuKonceptz also has an Ebay store, so check that out before you buy from their website, sometimes they offer better deals on Ebay.
Checked out their ebay store kit seems to be the same 59.99 but with 11.99 shipping. If I order the kit from their normal site do they charge shipping? I don't think I can spend over $70 on just wire.

thats not bad wire, but it is CCA so it wont take the same amount of current as its OFC counterpart. that would only be an issue if you decided to upgrade to something bigger though.
Do you think it could handle the aq1200d + a 4 channel?

Stop being a cheap *****, I've read all 5 pages and I'm sick to death of you turning away offers because of price reasons because you haven't given us a budget.

For being as stingy as you are, I can't imagine why you would want to cheap out on wiring just to have to buy more when you add more amps. Yes, you might have to spend three digits on quality wiring. Would I trust 0/1ga CCA running over 2k watts? maybe. Buy some OFC 0/1, cry into your pillow over the price, and get over it.

I can't wait until you realize you're going to need an extra battery or two and start cutting your wrists over how expensive those are too.

For the power he's going with he doesn't really need an extra battery, it won't hurt, but that can be put off for a bit. CCA wire is 66% as efficient compared to pure copper wire, not much of a difference at all in a daily driver. $70 for a wire kit is cheap, I spent about $90 plus shipping on a Stinger kit of 0/1 ga several years ago. I've got hundreds of dollars in wiring now, not even sure how much really. Do the Big 3 and that will help out for awhile.

I bought 20 ft of stinger 0 gauge a few years ago for my other car for $17 just wondering why the prices all jumped up so high.
The price of copper, aluminum, gas, everything has jumped up in price the past few years. It's all gonna effect the prices of wire. Thats a big reason companies started selling CCA wire, it's cheaper than real copper and good enough for a budget system. You could buy pure copper, but you'll never see the difference.

My budget was around $600 which I spent $267 of so far. I think there might be some delay on getting the audioque amp anyways so I can just get a good wiring kit and then order the subs in 2 weeks when I get paid again. I still need to do the big three I had a couple of nice gold plated stinger terminals from when I had my stinger wet cell years ago I think that will help with that. I'm wondering how much 0 gauge I will need to do the big 3 in a 97 jeep grand cherokee laredo. Wish the weather would warm up so I could check all this stuff.
