I'm thinking of going JL Audio need some opinions.

How about the Audioque Street Duty SDC2.5-12-D4 Subwoofer the specs look nice I'm a little concerned about how they have wires coming out does that mean they don't have terminals for each voice coil?

Ok I think I am going to go with 2x Audioque Street Duty SDC2.5-12-D4 sub woofers and an Audioque AQ1200D. I'm wondering if there is a cheaper place to order them then directly from Audioque?

Do you guys think my stock alternator will be able to keep up with the AQ1200D? I might possibly add a 4 channel amp later on as well if the coaxials are not loud enough.

EDIT: although I think the subs need really big enclosures I know I have a jeep but I didn't want to use all of my hatch space for just 2 subs lol. Also forgot about shipping 46 bux extra for them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I am definitely going to pull the trigger on the AQ1200D Amplifier I'm jsut waiting to hear back from them about the sub voice coil terminals. I noticed in the checkout there's a place for promo codes / coupons does anyone know of any?

I checked out all the companies you suggested but all their woofers have weird impedance like 3.35ohms and 4.40ohms and that just wont work right. Unless maybe I got 3 12's even then they would be a little off. Also they all seem to be custom made not sure how to order them or how much they are.
no driver has spot on impedence. its basically rounded, then with rise its pretty much a guess until its all said and done

Well yeah but 3.35 and 4.40 is basically 3.5 and 4.5 ohms but yea I know plus I was reading the sites wrong they had 2 or 4 ohm in the description but a different ohm in the specs so I didn't notice.

Most subs I've owned were pretty close, but the DC's I've been using and rebuilding for the past couple seasons have all been dead on. If they were dual 1's they were really dual 1.0. The Fi's I had were dual 2's, but were actually 1.8. It really doesn't make much of a difference with something that small, unless your a serious competitor and factor in your impedance rise when picking coils, but thats not what the OP is looking at.

I had mb quart comps and coaxials in my previous card ones from before the sale of the company the psd 2116's and dkd116's I got the jeep and sold the psd 216's because I can't find a good place to mount the tweeters and don't want to cut anything this time. I still have the dkd116's in the rear doors of my jeep and soon to have boston acoustic sc65 in the fronts. The mb quart's were nice but idk about the new ones they have now.
