Today I got a little more done.Not as much as I would liked to but its progress.

So far I have built the back sides and bottom.Today I sealed the inside of the box

And then I did the front baffle

I made a minor adjustment and opened the port up even further then originally planned

Here is the front baffle just held in place to get an idea

That's about it for today.

Got the baffle doubled up and drying.Should go in tomorrow if all goes well

I wasn't getting much voltage drop at the amp using the frame ground.However things may change.With the old setup I was getting some killer impeadance rise(probably from the box) so the current draw wasn't tremendous.But I think with the bigger box that might change a little.Has anyone noted any differance when switching from a frame ground to a full length?

Keep in mind I will also be running a battery bank in the rear of the vehicle as well as the sock battery location.

i had a small voltage gain when switching from full length to rear ground.

I didn't really get the full scope of how big the box was until the back got put on.Then I went to use the rear view and saw MDF.

Hopefully tomorrow I can get the baffel on and the subs wired up and in to check it out.

Atleast enough to get sound out of it.

OMG this thing is rediculious.........First I started with no portwall and it was loud.I added a port wall to drop the tuning and now it kills.Still tuned kinda high.I'm gonna say mid 50hz is what its peaking at.My jeep likes around 49-51hz so I need to drop it a little more.

The box isn't complete I still need to T&T then I will finish it up with a trim ring and grey carpet on the back of it
