whats the relay for in the back? remote wire?

I worked on the electrical side a it this week.Since I can't do any testing till the weekend I thouht I would put in some of the 1/0 I got from Kent(thanks).

I ran two runs of positive for now to the back.I didn't have any voltage drop from front to rear after doing both runs so I should be fine for now.

Here are the 2 runs coming through the fre wall on the passenger side. This is the usual place I try to run most of my power wires on any vehicle.Unless there is a groumet or the battery is on the driver side.

Here you can see them runnin along the floor board. With the 2 runs it is a little harder to get the carpet to set right. However I was able to make it almost disappear.

Here I ran it out the latch spot where the seat used to be.I was able to get 2 runs out of 25ft no problem.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Here is the fuse block under the hood.I had to modihy it a bit seems how it was for 2 4ga wires.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Here you can see the wires tied together and routed away from the engine to prevent them from melting(has happened to me in the past.)Sometimes I wrap it with some scrape deadener with the aluminum backing for exra insurance.

On to the alt.this is the connection to the post on the back.

And here is the Iraggi Alt I got.Its got a custom machined pulley made of aluminum. This lightens the weight by about half.

Yep,I like to use them when running alot of things that require a switched source. And with these HK's they don't like to see low voltage on the remote input.

Well, I got to do SOME testing and tuning today.I am very pleased with the box and output.I installed the second amp and got them all wired up.

First let me tell you this testing was done with lil jon's "throw it up" as I didn't have a test tone cd on me or avalible at the time.

So I guess you would call these numbers off music and not a test cd.However I will get a cd and do real testing with actual test tones.

Now on to the results.I stopped the cd just prior to the very first bass drop on the song right around the 56-57sec mark.I paused it set the volume to 30/62.First test I did was with 1 amp wired to 2 ohms.I burped the song for about 2-3 sec and got a reading of 148.4.Did it a sec time and got 149.2.After that I hooked up 2 subs on each amp wired at 1 ohm. Then I repeated the same test exactaly as before.First burp I got a 150.8.Reset the song and did a 50.9.After that I moved a couple things around then did it again.151.2DB!!!!

Now keep in mind these results are from burping a song not a test tone but it is results!I will continue with making small changes to the box(rounding corners, bracing, port, etc)

Any suggestions are welcome.

God its been a while since I posted up in this thread!!SORRY....

Anyway, I've been working like crazy for the last couple weeks getting things ready for Slamology!!Haven't had time to snap pics along the way. However I have gotten a lot done since the last photo's.Did some MORE bracing as the shit was flexing like crazy!!!Built the trim panel around the outside to seal it off. Also re-did the wiring inside the box cause it kept rattling inside on certain notes.

I need to get up some vids but my I can't figure out how to format it to work on my computer from my camera.I had one but it didn't work.

And this is just with 1 amp!!I found out a couple of my batts are about dead so its time for new ones.

I will get some vids today and try and post them......
