This is a test fit of the box in the vehicle.

Well I ran into a little problem with the sizing.I thought I could fit 34" in so thats what I went with.

But theres a problem when i tried to fit the top in it wouldn't fit!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

So I had to cut 1" off it to make it work.....

You like that don't you!:DPicked that up for a great price.Dual hoods, infared burner, rotissarie, you name it has it.

And thanks for all the great comments....I should have the front baffel done today and the sub cutouts done.I may resin the corners of the box just in case.

More to come later today!!!!!

I drilled a whole in the firewall on the passenger side. That is how I ran most of my power wires for the last 12 years.Just easier then trying to find a spot that is useable. However if there is one(rubber graumet) and will work with the wire I am running then I'll use that.As for the ground I use one of the rear seat bolts that I cleaned up as the ground.I am still debateing on using this for this application or if I should run a full ground wire.

If you look at one of the pics you can see where I am talking about. It is the piece of black wire wire I attached the strapping to.
Definately do it, with the power your running I think it would be safer to run a full length ground.

Oh and I have the same table saw //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

I wasn't getting much voltage drop at the amp using the frame ground. However things may change. With the old setup I was getting some killer impeadance rise(probably from the box) so the current draw wasn't tremendous. But I think with the bigger box that might change a little.

Has anyone noted any differance when switching from a frame ground to a full length?

Keep in mind I will also be running a battery bank in the rear of the vehicle as well as the sock battery location.
