IA Death Row build log!

Well I still can't figure out how to upload a **** video.I can't even get it to play on my computer!!!However I did get a couple shots of the somewhat finished product.I still plan on covering it but its a "wall" now fo sho'!:DIt was kinda a ***** to build the panels and get the contours all correct. But I managed after a few different trys at it.

Well on to some pics...

Here you can see I got it sealed all the way around.

Here is the backside of the panel braced up so it doesn't flex too much.

Here I made the speaker connections convient.Never done it this way but it seems to work. And its alot easier then messing with twisted wires and such.

Here you can get an idea of how far it is back from the seats.

And this is where the amps go.Just got one running for now as a daily. After I get some newer batts I will be running both amps daily!!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif

Well thats about all for now.I have a meet coming up this weekend so I will get numbers and more pics then.Hopefully someone that knows how to make a vid will make one for me a the comp and post it up.

Thanks to Josh and Nick at IA for some great subs.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Id either spread the terminals out on the box or insulate them somehow. If any of those bolts loosen up and allow a terminal to fall over on its side, you could possibly have a problem...

Wasn't there a thread a while back, that I can't seem to find where they did numerous tests with 8g-16g speaker wire and only to find little to no difference?
It's still not ideal.I have some new wire that I just need to install when I get a min.

Picked up some new batteries as well.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Going to a 2x this weekend so I will have a certified score for everyone!Got in alittle testing and things are looking VERY promising.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Well I have had these in now for a couple months now, and couldn't be more pleased with them. They are well built subs that sound awesome! They have those commanding lows that just shake everything, but still remain very transient for SQ.I would say the 1000rms is slightly under the handling of this sub especially with the ADC design. But if your looking for an awesome SQ/SQL sub then look no further then the Death Row line at IA.
