I have 500$ for a sub and amp and installation

Whats the best stuff to get? Best buy offered me a rockford 200S and 2 10" Rockford Z subs and enclosed and installed for 519$. I could prolly get the the components online for cheaper but then I'd be worried about how expensive the install would be then. Right now its only 80$. So, any recomendations? Self install is not an option, I installed my head unit and speakers myself and honestly, I almost snapped the dash in half so no more of that.

man self install is easy... but nay way... are you looking for SQ or SPL?

I mostly listen to rock so I'm definately looking more toward the SQ side.

Right now the compenents I have drawn up are:

2 12" Kicker 03CVR12s

Lanzar Vibe258

well if you want 2 12's (as states above) and SQ, then get 2 shiva's..... very cheap. $125 each.... check em out at http://www.adireaudio.com -----> mobile audio -------> drivers -----> shiva.. Amp to power them? Some thingdoes does abouit 800-1K Watts..... You don't need to feed these subs anything past 400W becuz they have a "power compression" which they don't get affected by anything past 400, (except if too much they'll blow)

Do I need a 2 channel amp if I want 2 subs or can I buy a mono amlifier that does 800-1000 watts?

monoblock would be more suitable and cheaper
