me and my friend went ahead and built a box cuz 70 bucks for a pre-fab is BS. i was too lazy to deal with carpeting too so we spray painted it. didnt turn out too bad. And also some shots of the 10" RE SE's. The subs are sitting in the holes but i havent screwed em in yet. What kind of screws should i use and what size? Oh and the box is 28 inches wide and 15 inches deep. (the base). how many cubic feet is it?

what are the deminsions of the lenght. you gotta have 3 measurments to know the size. looks good just make sure its sealed right and if it is to little you can always put some polyfill in it, but it looks big enough.

just from experience with the BMW e36, you will get a lot of cancelation with the subs facing into the cabin (i'm assuming you are doing this from the box design). Or are you going to completely seal off the front from the back?

i am not going to face the subs into the cabin and trust me ive done a ton a research on this and yes its hard to get the bass into the cabin but i did things to make it better and i tested some subs in my car and they slam. Ill let u guys know how these sound when i get my car back (in the shop getting a coolant leak fixed:furious: )

all is good then //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif .

one question though. why are the subs at an angle if they are facing the rear of the car, wouldn't you want them on a flat panel //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif ?

yea....i dunno Lol thats just how we made it cuz i mean i didnt want to just make a perfect sqaure box ya kno there needs to be an angle somewhere in the box. and plus im gona try facing the subs into the cabin as well illl see which sounds better. i mite end up taking my rear speakers out but i cant amp up the fronts because im already pushing my alternator more than it could probly handle.

Originally posted by Miller Is your box for those subs a single chamber or does each SE have its own chamber? Does it make a difference?
the box does not have seperate chambers. if one sub blows then the other one will blow also because of too much space for the sub. thats why its good to make seperate chambers.
