How to secure sub box

You'd be surprised what can happen in an accident. The box, flying around, could easily break and send pieces in your direction. Not to mention simply damaging the box, sub(s) and trunk of your car.

I use those things that are about 1.5 to 2 inches long that are shaped like the St. Louis arch that have a place to put a screw on the bottom of each side of the arch. I screw these into my box and then put something similar into the bottom of my trunk. I usually put this out of site, then I use heavy duty wire or zip ties and zip them down. Or you can use plumbers tape and screw it into the box and then the trunk. Some folks cut a piece of wood that fits between the rear deck and the top of the box and then wedge it in there. This can look good if you cover it with the same type carpet. Bungy cords are alright just keep them out of site.

dood there isnt really a "good way" to secure it. thats like getting a jeep cj5 and buying a box with 15's in it ...dont fit unless you take the seat out..... ever watch the comercial that has the little kids saying "we will make it fit" lol if you wanna secure it better bust out the ratchet and take the seat out. then go from there

I dont want to bolt it in becuase it would void the freaking warrenty, and with these pieces of shit, i need that warrenty untill I sell them and get sum new subs, which I can sell them for more if they have a warrenty with them. Im gettin new subs hopefully before feb.

When I get my new subs tho, I will bolt them in. And then im gettin a new car in the spring.

didnt say bolt it in but the flatter the area the better even if you were going to wedge it in
