Just wondering on far as i am planning to run BXT II deadener and was wondering as far as how many layers is sufficient and what most of you guys run. I was planning on 3 layers for the roof, 2 for the floor, 2 for the back wall and 2-3 per front door and the back doors prob only 2 layers 3 if i have enough.

What do you guys suggest. Also what about the ensolite anyone use that?

Do a search for Sound Deadener Showdown. The owner's (Don) theory is that you only need ABOUT 25% coverage when applying sound deadener. Im going to deaden my doors tomorrow if the weather clears up and I'm going to try this theory and see how it works.

And I would agree with James on the effectiveness of limited coverage, but since I have little to no experience in that method I decided to do 100% coverage. My application calls for a little above the norm with a goal of 160+db on music under 45hz.
