New Alternator or Battery?

It is what it is
Alright, so, i've always been on stock electrical, and am looking to finally upgrade. I am going to run about 1300rms sub wise, about 100rms comp wise, and have a stock 100amp alternator. I get decent voltage drops off of 600rms right now. I was going to drop around $150 on a battery. I looked on eGay and saw a 200amp high output alternator for $200 from DBelectrical. I don't know too much about alternators, but I am pretty sure it didn't state it's idle amps, etc. So, my question would be, would it be worth upgrading my alternator to that, or getting a battery. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Don't need to upgrade your alt unless you go over 2-3k rms.

A second batt in the back should take care of your voltage drop. But also make sure you get your starting batt tested in case its going bad.

Thanks for the tips. Haven't done the Big 3 yet, soon to be done within two weeks. To the poster above me. All I was asking was if it was worth upgrading the alternator while I had the money. I do search, and check for the results.

alty upgrades are nice to have. i'd start with a yellow top for a kinetik up front. you can likely find these cheap on craigstlist. if you wanna spend the extra $ and get nice bats go with XS (previous powermaster).

an ho alty for 200 isnt bad at all, considering most name brand ones are 400+ at least
