I guess I just have a criminals point of view, that's all.
That's the best way to defeat them (think like they do & but don't cross the line) //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
If I'm looking for a civic to break into and I don't have a clue what any 10 of them have inside, I will go for the one with the LED because he's probably got something inside that is of value if he is trying to deter thieves.
While that can be true, are you really going to risk it???
Yes, it is possible to rip out my HU before I fill your a$$ with lead. Feel free to test this theory whenever you like on whomever you like.
I also did see this smart *** response challenging you about your HU. My response would be to anchor strap the back so it is hard to remove. Also, if you just had silent alarm & not audible, most likely the punk(s) would have no clue you have been alerted, giving you a better chance of "filling their *** with lead"! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Your alarm went off when your window was broken. That's great. All you had to do was replace the $100+ window. If you would have left the door unlocked the same result would have taken place but you'd be $100+ richer.
While that could have been true, especially because of my 4 siren's which would have & did put more scare into them to move on, I still could have had something missing.
Think about it: With the door open, the punk(s) could have still grabbed something and run off. On the other hand with the way it went down, the smashed window with tint was blocking their easy access to grab. Hence they ran with nothing. I hope you see my point. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Point being I'm sure that 99% of people with a shock sensing alarm have had a false alarm on more than one occasion.
Sure. It is the name of the game sometimes, but like I mentioned above, the correct sensitivity setting will greatly reduce false alarms so if it does activate the chance that it is real is more likely. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
You know that sinking feeling when your alarm goes off and the adrenaline starts pumping and you start shaking ready to kill someone that's in your ride?
Yep! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
I never get that.
If someone wants it there is nothing you can do except get good insurance, move to a nice area and keep good friends.
Not necessarily. Extra sirens & back up's with pager will better insure the proper desired effectiveness of your security alarm system along with a garage. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
