Help Me Choose 8s

I think I'm gonna go with SA8 or F8L. Only thing the F8L has on the Sa8 is a bigger voice coil. How are the F8L rated? Do I give them 650rms or can they take a bit more like 800rms

They can likely take more. Mark had the IC2200 at .67 ohm and said they still wanted more power.

Yeah that would. Those sa's will take a little bigger box if need to make up for any power lack. If I had 3 sa's, I'd probably get 3 d2, wire them up at 1.33 ohms on to something like a 2200 w mono block.

Those sa-8's are very well designed and will take some power. We just need to make sure we can fit the port for those 8's. Smaller net cubic footage boxes use bigger ports. So like an 18 in 6 cubes will need less port than an 8 in .75 cubes, very vaguely speaking. The smaller the box is in net cubic footage, usually the bigger the port has to be. There's ratios there. You can get away with incredibly small ports in boxes that are like 10 cubes+, even for very high powered woofers. These high powered 8's are some of the most likely setups to get port noise. The OG sa-8's, I had people getting port noise with 18 in^2/cube of port area. I had to do 20 in^2/cube of port area with the OG sa-8's in some vehicles just simply to avoid port noise. That's a HUGE port, and it can take up a lot of space very quickly. So please keep that in mind with the space that you have and where the box is going, because we could run out of space, especially if we're doing it behind the rear seats and need to fire the port towards the side or something like that.

What's the difference between the digital designs hidef 2008c and the digital designs power tuned 2508f series. I know the redline is made in China right.
