Needing help figuring out an issue

I have a Pioneer DMH-WT5000NEX head unit, rockford fosgate T series 800 watt sub powered by rockford fosgate T series 1000 watt mono amp, 4, 50 watt tweeters and 4, 160 watt door speakers powered by 4 channel 400 watt JL audio amp. Door speakers and tweeters sound amazing with the sub turned off, but when I cut the sub on from the head unit the left side (door and tweeters) cuts out and comes back. What am I doing wrong?

Need a bit more.

You have essentially 4 corners of the car with 2-way components at all four corners, front L/R, rear L/R so I assume you are using passive crossovers on each component set?

Are you playing the system without the sub, then turning the sub on all of a sudden?

Does the entire left side go out, then come back on?

Yes the entire left side goes out then comes back on. I don't have any passive cross overs, all the highs came with passive cross overs already connected to them. I can turn off sub and they all play fine without a problem, soon as I turn sub back on it'll play for a while then one side fades out then comes back.

If you could provide the wiring layout, that would help.

From HU to amps (which amp) and amp to speakers, crude drawings accepted!

If you could take a snapshot of the connections and the settings on the 4-channel amp, that would also be helpful.

Are your amps really hot when it cuts out?
