Help Me Choose 8s

Im looking to do two or three 8" woofers in my jeep and need help choosing some out. I want something that will get loud but will have great sound quality. I have been doing a lot of research and came up with a lot. Also when looking at a woofers T/S parameters what do you look for?

Sundown X 8
DS18 EXl-X8
B2 Audio RageV2 8
B2 Audio Rampage 8
Cosmo Audio EP500 8
CT Sounds Strato 8
CT Sounds Meso 8

I don't think you will be able to hear a difference between any of those subs other than the L7s. I've never been a fan of L7s sound and I have had them and run them in many different boxes.

I personally would probably go Sundown SA or SSA F8L. My SA-8s were top 3 subs I have ever had.

Agree with Pop. My top 2 choices in there are the SSA F8L and SA. If/when I run 8’s, I will likely be going the SSA route but, I will give Sundown a hard look as well.

I have no experience with the F8L but SSA woofers tend to be a bit more “musical” according to others.

T/s parameters don't always translate to a better woofer. There's some woofers that look better than others in that department, but some woofers are built better than others too.

The sa-8 is a really good woofer. I know you know what I think on that lol.

B2 stuff seems legit. I want to see more people run it. I was supposed to be doing a b2six series 6th order but it hasn't come time yet. The b2 stuff seems impressive looking at it, I'm just not sure about overall quality because it seems like nobody uses them.

You would personally run SA8 over the x8s

The X8 is an SPL woofer. The SA is the lowest distortion 8" ported subwoofer Sundown has.

In our line all of the 8s are unique to their line.

The X-8 is more of a "traditional" sounding subwoofer -- not an ultra high-excursion, linear, bottom-end monster like the rest of the X series.

Granted it can still play low but it's not going to sound like the rest of the X line.

So the SA will sound more musical and the x will be better off in the lows. What didn't you like about the l7 8. It has more cone area so should be louder?

I never liked the sound of L7’s. To me they can get loud but sound like crap.

Has anyone heard or used.

Amp will be a kicker KXA 1600.1. box buck will design. Only thing left to buy is my subs
