Grounding problem?

I mean, make the batteries an independent circuit together...and not daisy chain all of it..
probably the whine is coming from the batteries charging/discharging...

it is the pioneer hu causing the problem:fyi:

Alright I have no clue what the pico fuse is haha but is grounding the RCA shielding what is done in the ground loop sticky? with the wire wrapped around the RCA connections on the back of the HU?

yes, or get an isolator...go to crutchfield.com and look up ground loop isolator

Haha alrighty so either ground the RCAs on back of HU or do it with the isolator

or

run another wire from neg. to neg.

When you change something that works, and there is a problem...

start with, what has changed and work your way out...

and not all Pioneers have the grounding issue with the HUs...

Yeah I was thinking about the RSDc sub...full 12" with a 1kw capable amp...

Haha well how about tomorrow I'll ground the RCAs and see if that works and get back to you...

if not then I can work on hooking up the kinetik differently and find what the problem could be

the rsd can take 1kw..the rsdc should be able to take more

give it a whirl and see what happens...50% of the time it works every time
