In my opinion they are the same. Round is just easier to implement.Do u think pipe is better dan vented port?
Ok kool, i did say that to my self as well, but i want u to be more specific of the measurements. Am kinda new to this , w+h×l this would be nice if u can help me out on thatIn my opinion they are the same. Round is just easier to implement.
Box outer dimensions will be 26w x 16h x 16d. Port is a 4" round x 15-5/8" long.w+h×l this would be nice if u can help me out on that
Ok kool, amma see how this can go in d morning thanks broBox outer dimensions will be 26w x 16h x 16d. Port is a 4" round x 15-5/8" long.

Yes. I have the same sub.For this american bass elite 1244 1200 rms?
Oooo nice kool, but why the box face is so big? What i usually do at times is like if its a 12" the height is gonna be 13 or 13 1/2 so so it won't look all that, but just asking a questionYes. I have the same sub.View attachment 60203
Can i see a picture of your box?Yes. I have the same sub.View attachment 60203
Reason is so the box would not be so deep or wide. You could reshape it as long as you get a total of 4,940.87 cubic inches inside the box. That volume has already taken into account the sub, port, and a little bracket for the port.but why the box face is so big? I did not build a box for it. I put it in a box I already had. It sounded fantastic..... until it finally broke in. Once broken in, it sounded like crap. Can i see a picture of your box?
This what you have now or the one u just told me to build?Reason is so the box would not be so deep or wide. You could reshape it as long as you get a total of 4,940.87 cubic inches inside the box. That volume has already taken into account the sub, port, and a little bracket for the port.

That is the size your sub needs to sound awesome. The Q-Bomb box I have is a bad match for the sub. A wrong box can make a great sub sound terrible. This what you have now or the one u just told me to build?
Ok bro thanks but wat if i want to do it ported and not pipe? That is the size your sub needs to sound awesome. The Q-Bomb box I have is a bad match for the sub. A wrong box can make a great sub sound terrible.
From the box specs I have seen from several manufacturers, you just use the port area of the round for the slot. In this case 12.56 square inches. So you could make it 1-1/4"w x 10"h or 1-1/8"w x 12"h.Ok bro thanks but wat if i want to do it ported and not pipe?
So your saying the width of the port is 1 1/4 or 1 1/8 ?From the box specs I have seen from several manufacturers, you just use the port area of the round for the slot. In this case 12.56 square inches. So you could make it 1-1/4"w x 10"h or 1-1/8"w x 12"h.
Those are two examples 1-1/4 x 10 is option one. 1-1/8 x 12 is option two.So your saying the width of the port is 1 1/4 or 1 1/8 ?
Ok bro so w26" h16" d16" slot port 1 1/4 or pipe 15 5/8" correct?Those are two examples 1-1/4 x 10 is option one. 1-1/8 x 12 is option two.
