Good 10" Sub(s)

Hi, looking for a good set of 10" subs. Looking for a good set around 200-250 for the pair, new or used. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Getting a viper that puts out about 800 wrms at a 2ohm load. Have a single infinty kappa perfect 10.1, but those are getting exceedingly difficuly to find. Lemme know your opinions. Looking at the alpine 10", but those are all DVC which isn't bad i know, but complicates things wiring wise. Mostly listen to rock, some rap (rarely). Will most likely be in a

what do you want...more SQ or SPL or a blend of both. Honestly you dont have the power to run the Type R's, eventhough they are around 500 RMS, people send over 1k watts to them. I would look at the SoundSplinter RL-i, great driver and a good deal, though for 250 you might have to find them used.

Looking for almost completely SQ, not a big SPL guy, never have been, never will be probably. Love my infinity for it's SQ. Okay, thanks for the advice on the alpine, but you really don't think 400w rms will do it for them?

IA 187s are dual 2 ohm making a 2 ohm nominal load with two of them. 800 watts would be perfect between them. Not as SQ oriented as the Infinity but nothing to sneeze at either.
