qeneral question on amp size

If you're looking at the KX1500.1 then you'll want to get those L7s in the DVC 2 Ohm configuration as that particular amp isn't 1 Ohm stable iirc so you'll want to show it a 2 Ohm nominal load.

As for the amp struggling to "push its max" if the amp is well designed and honestly capable of making that level of output then the only real struggle that might occur is if you're starving it for voltage.

I look at it this way ~ if it's designed to perform a certain task then I'm not going to feel bad about demanding that said task be performed on a regular basis.

aight preciate it i was wondering cuz i had stereo one do my last setup (2 memphis pr 15s, directed 1200d amp) and they said i should have over shot the subs with the wattage so i could power my headunit/speakers.

they may have been talking out their asses though

LOL - mine was a higher end model too - iirc deh-9300. Low mileage too, it was sitting around for year collecting dust.

One or two, they are still subwoofer outs and are mono summed signals from both left and right. Even the 2 RCA subwoofer pre-outs on the 2nd one...
