I dont know the tech involved but it pounds pretty hard. Has a dual spider, 1 under neath and the one as the cone. Pretty neat.

my girls system is louder then alot of peoples near me she has 2 kicker comp vrs, the new 05's and a directed amp...i want mine louder then it is thou and my system beats hers hands down...

She enjoys it. Its loud enough for her. I asked her if she wanted the splml12 subs but she doesnt so I may be sellin them soon. We'll see.

shit man, not the case here. My girl has a '01 Celica so its all open air and chit. She got my four RE8's and a ARC 4150XXK running bridged.
