gain setting test tone

im setting my gains and its all going good i have a ported box 5feet cubed tuned to 32Hz for my test tone when im setting my gain should i use a test tone for wat my box is tuned to? (32hz - 0db) ?

im not asking where to get the tone im asking if i should be using a tone that is the same as what my box is tuned to thanks.

i know what your asking...and i saw you post on someone elses gain setting thread and you posted the answer right there. the gain setting tutorial says what test tone to use....but since you wont read. use a 50hz -6db tone. can use -3db if you wanna be safe.

sorry i thought u were implying somthing else i wasnt to sure about the 50hz thing if it was used for ported boxes to..thanks for the help

50hz is a standard basically. 1000hz for speakers
