New Amp

I just bought a new Kenwood KAC-9103D 1800 Watt amp and hooked it up last night and at first it was going good then later that night my subs would shut off for a couple seconds and come right back on... then today my head unit would turn off then come right back on... any suggestions?

i have the 1700watt.. these things are power hungry as hell.. youre getting undervoltage (it kicks the amp into protect at like 12.4 volts or under) and the amps restarting.

im running a group 31 battery, Big 3 and 2 runs of 2 gauge welding wire and i cant bump a whole song without it doing this.

i dont think its my battery bcuz i just got a brand new battery and alternator...

i just told you what it is.

amps are picky about undervoltage. get a HO alternator

Do a voltage check while playing music at the levels that you have problems at.
