First sub is chain is burning bad

It is. If you have to run the 14, you should at least double it up to keep the flow up. Rewire as stated above.
I took the hot sub out and saw that only half the 14 gauge was in the terminal so I put all of it in and now it doesn't get hot at all. I ordered more 8 gauge to finish the wiring but I'm just saying I solved the problem.

Yeah I ordered more 8 gauge yesterday so I can wire it the right way. I forgot I need to get terminals too so I will order those //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. Maybe I will have a little less resistance now!
