Fi BL sub is done..Need a replacement

Had the 08 Bl for about a year now on a USA amp 2000x The top suspension level had several tears. Time for a new sub!

The 09 BL with its driver updates seems pretty tasty at this point being that I enjoyed its performance. The price is also set about right.

Is there anything that might be worth taking a look at around the same price range of $350?

HDC3 or Dc Audio lvl 4xl (not sure bout price on those)

Running 37hz 4.0 before driver displacement 2000wRMS (at the least)

My friend had one but was wayyy underpowered so it was hard to see what infact he really had but it looked absolutely beautiful. Will my amp be enough for that beast for daily?

HDC3 will get loud off that power. A friend of mine has 15"/copper coil off a sundown saz-1500 and it pounds.

Another friend has a BL off a kicker zx1000, and it's significantly quieter. Of course, the BL is quite underpowered though.

The LV4XL is a beast. I had the 10'' version and loved it. I also had a 10'' BL, haha.

Why not recone the BL? Otherwise the copper HDC would be nice off your power in the right box. 4 -4 1/2 cubes @ 38Hz...

if you had problems with the bls suspension playin low, than you will have the same with the hdc3

the bl can take alot lower tuning than 37 hz easy

i already gave it away to a friend as an "even" trade but going to make atleast 75 on the deal when I sell the working 12 in a box..

I have the subsonic on and don't play crazy low songs. The suspension seemed REALLY brittle to the touch and to a razor blade. Way more brittle then normal. At times, the excursion has been excessive and I think over time from all the power it has finally met its demise. GREAT SUB though.
