You're doing it wrong. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
If you look closely, I did bend some metal to get my new speakers to fit in the doors. I figure I can bend that back if I ever want to go back to factory, assuming there would ever be a reason I'd want to go back to factory.

You'll have that on big jobs.://content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

But seriously, those tweets have left damage anyway. Unless you installed them with double-sided tape or velcro. Let's suppose you've mounted them with screws (and you have), why didn't you drill a second hole to at least hide the wiring?

I'm actually such a hillbilly, I installed them with 3M trim molding tape. It holds like no other.

Looks aren't important how they sound are, installing like that will allow him to adjust the tweeters for sound so incase he ever decides to go ahead and flush them he wont have to do permenant damage over and over.

This is true, however, I'll probably end up glassing some pods for them so I don't cause any permanent damage.

Hopefully I get a nice chunk of free time during my Thanksgiving break so I can finally finish your box EJ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

The frontstage end of your install is looking nice though. The tweeter placement may not look great but I bet it sounds awesome since you can tweak it's on/off axis placement and what not.

Hells, yes. Thanks. It's not the best looking as far as the placement goes, but it does look better in person than it does in the pictures. I've also hid the wire better than what's in the pics. I'm eventually going to be running them bridged from my amp. That'll be giving them a clean 200 watts of power. They want way more power than the 70 watts I'm giving them right now.

Looks good but it doesn't mean its the right application for the OP.
